Rebecca and Josh
Tredudwell Manor Wedding
Tredudwell Manor in Cornwall is a beautiful rustic barn style wedding venue, perfect for wedding photography. It is an 18th century country manor house set in its own peaceful gardens and woodlands, its elevated position is ideal to admire the breathtaking views stretching out to Cornwall’s Heritage Coastline and the blue sparkling sea beyond.
I had previously met up with Rebecca and Josh when I photographed their engagement shoot at Lanhydrock. These photoshoots are great to ease couples tensions who don’t feel very comfortable having their photo taken.
I arrived early to photograph Rebecca and her family getting ready for the big day in one of Tredudwell Manors stunning bedrooms. Josh was getting ready elsewhere and I met up with him at St Wyllow Church. The wedding preparations were very relaxed and unrushed. The beautifully decorated rooms made it very easy to photograph.
The bridal car arrived to pick Rebecca up. It was my first time seeing a Tesla used for weddings and I was very excited to see one! I arrived at the church just before Rebecca arrived to photograph a nervous looking groom, Josh, stood anxiously at the front of the church. His bride to be was traditionally a few minutes late.
The wedding was beautiful in the lovely St Wyllow Church, nestled in the middle of nowhere.
Afterwards I got to ride in the Tesla with the newly married couple to nearby cliff top for some couple photos. After this it was back to the venue for the confetti shot, drinks, the meal and most importantly the speeches. I love photographing speeches because there is always so much emotion. Josh was overcome with emotions during his speech and struggled with a few parts. Love does this to even the toughest people!
After the speeches it was a few group photos and we had another small opportunity for couple shots around the gardens of Tredudwell Manor. The day ended with drinks and dancing
