The Importance of Detailed Shots

Cornwall Wedding Photography
Over the years I’ve had lots of great feedback from couples I’ve done wedding photography for. One common theme is the appreciation for the detailed shots I take. This post is to explain the importance of detaileds shots for wedding photography.

Wedding planning is far from easy! It’s your special day and you want to put your own personal touch on everything. Whether it’s the dress, the table layouts, the seating plan, the wedding invitations or even the fonts used throughout the day on various signs, all these things have been carefully chosen and are well thought about and planned out. One couple once told me that they had spent two months deciding which colour and style of flowers to have!

They say your wedding day goes by so fast that it almost becomes a blur. Suddenly the months and months of planning all those small details will be all but forgotten about. This is why it is so important for a wedding photographer to capture as many of these details as possible.

The importance of being able to capture these small details has spoken for itself with the positive feedback that I’ve received over the years. These images have been able to rekindle memories that have been all but forgotten due to the fast pace of wedding days. Wedding photography should capture the story of the entire day.
